Google Technology User Groups and Startup Weekend are joining forces to help community members, developers, and entrepreneurs become more successful!

If you have an idea for what could make government better or more accessible, please come share it during the first hour during the introductions and ice breakers.

One of the focuses of this Startup Weekend event is Government Data (data.wa.gov, data.seattle.gov, datakc.org), and we wanted to introduce people to some tools they could use to take better advantage of this data. Everyone is welcome, even if you are not attending Startup Weekend GOV.

If you're coming to the weekend, we know that during a Startup Weekend event there isn't a lot of time to learn new things. You come in with the tools you have in your belt, and you do the best you can with those. But sometimes those tools aren't enough, which is why we're running this pre-Startup Weekend bootcamp.

Google employee Marc Cohen will be talking about "Predicting the Future and Other Creative Ways to use Google’s Cloud Computing Services." He'll provide an overview of Google coud computer capabilities along with some demos and code examples.

Bring a laptop, and be ready to learn about some pretty cool and powerful tools!

Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
